Jose Alfredo Garcia Pujol, known as Sedo, was born in 1952 in the city of Barcelona, where in 1976 he opened his first luthier workshop. A year later he moved his workshop to Torredembarra; a coastal town near Tarragona. In 1990 Sedo and his family moved to a rural village near Girona, where he currently has his workshop and builds a variety of string instruments while also offering courses for the learning of the luthier craft.
